PPP's Fauzia Wahab passes away

KARACHI: Pakistan People's Party's senior leader Fauzia Wahab breathed her last after remaining under treatment at a local hospital for three weeks on Sunday.

Fauzia Wahab, 56, had underwent a gall bladder surgery at a local hospital serious post-operative complications, wchich proved fatal for the veteran politician.

Her funeral prayer will be offered at Masjid Mubarak in Defence Phase-4, Sea View, Karachi after Zohar prayers on Monday.

PPP has announced a 10-day mourning on the tragic demise of its senior leader.

Pakistan Muslim League-N President, Nawaz Sharif, expressed grief on Fauzia Wahab's death and prayed for eternal peace of the departed soul.

Babar Awan, talking to Geo News, expressed shock on the tragic news and sent condolences to the bereaved family.
